APWLD is the region’s leading network of feminist organisations and women. We have 183 members represent groups of diverse women from 25 countries in Asia. We have been active for nearly 25 years.

From the feminist juridical and political task, we work, struggle with our activism and advocacy in 15 countries of Latin America and the Caribbean, trough national cladems which are based on: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico and Uruguay.

FIDA
FIDA Kenya is a the leading women’s rights organization in Kenya that was formed in 1985 as an affiliate member of the FIDA Global which was established in 1944 in Mexico. It was later registered as a Kenyan NGO in 1993 and has grown to have a membership base of 1,110 women lawyer members from across Kenya and over 800friends (individuals and corporates- non-lawyers) from across Kenya and internationally. FIDA Kenya has countrywide presence in Kenya with offices in Nairobi, Kisumu and Mombasa.
Over the years, FIDA Kenya has grown as a fearless women rights defender both regional and internationally setting precedents and modelling other women rights organizations with our greatest reach being Eastern and Southern Africa. This we mainly achieve through our networks such as the Women Inheritance Now (WIN) network which we coordinate.
In addition, we are also the founders and members of the Legal Support Network which is a network in East Africa (Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania) that offers legal protection to service providers providing Sexual Reproductive Health services including Safe abortion services. We also are members of the SOAWR network which a continental network on SRHR- advocating for the Maputo Protocol; Reproductive Health Rights Alliance (Kenya), ESCR-Net (global network), Women's Global Network for Reproductive Rights Network

WILDAF
The organization – WiLDAF - has been in operation for 11 years now, having been started in 1996, as WiLDAF East Africa. Beyond Eastern Africa, WiLDAF has a wide coverage in 36 African countries. WiLDAF Kenya was registered in 1999 as a Kenyan local NGO under the NGO Coordination Act. The Kenya office has its niche and proven expertise in policy formulation and law making and review; ability to influence change through policy makers, and policy oriented research.
